Risk Management is a term applicable to the whole process of risk estimation, evaluation, reduction and control. We consider risk management in phases; each incorporating a potential number of actions with respect to the project involved.


The purpose of risk management includes:

  • To control and reduce risk to the barest minimum or acceptable levels;
  • To reduce uncertainties in risk decision making; and
  • To increase the public confidence in risk related decisions



  • A medical post for prompt medical attention at work sites;
  • Qualified medical attendants shall be available for advice and consultation on matters of occupational injuries;
  • Certified First Aid Personnel shall be available at work sites to offer first aid treatment before calling on a doctor on serious and minor cases;
  • Approved list of drugs shall be stored in an identified box;
  • Transport shall be made available for injured employee(s) visiting hospital or physician;
  • Telephone numbers of physicians, hospital(s) and ambulances shall be conspicuously posted.
  • The company safety officer shall develop and distribute written information relating to medical treatment and emergency evaluation procedures for site;
  • Accident report shall be made available to client as required by clients loss prevention procedure manual; and
  • A designated Clinic at client’s location shall be identified.
